Conflicts
Conflict competence as the key to professional collaboration
Conflicts are all too often perceived as paralyzing and disruptive and are therefore avoided at all costs. This not only leads to a loss of development potential. Rather, it leads to hidden conflicts that cost more energy in the long run than those that are carried out openly. The energy created by friction is too rarely used to develop together and create something new.
In order to see conflicts as an opportunity, it is necessary to deal with them in a reflective manner, which is taught to participants in a practical way in our conflict management training courses: Using models, theoretical input and action-oriented exercises, situations from everyday working life are reflected on and dealt with at other levels.
In the work context, it is often not possible to resolve conflicts completely and sustainably. Too many private or historical factors play a role here, which we can only influence to a limited extent in the professional environment.
Our approach therefore focuses on what is really relevant in the corporate context: taking responsibility for your own role and function. Those who lose themselves in conflicts run the risk of losing sight of their actual task and core competence - due to personal sensitivities. This is exactly where we come in.
It's not about avoiding every conflict. But it is also not about having to resolve every conflict at all costs. Acting professionally means performing your own task despite existing tensions, remaining capable of acting and acting in the interests of the company.
Insights, self-reflection and an expansion of personal options for dealing with conflicts are central components here in order to achieve a maximum degree of everyday transfer.
